In the past, we used to hear many coaches saying they always played the same way regardless of which opponent they faced, as a way of showing dominance. In recent years, this statement has become obsolete, as scouting has been perfectioned and teams being able to present successful tactical alternatives even when facing a better team.
This is why the importance of preparing a good game plan, taking into consideration your team strengths but also the opponent's strengths, weaknesses and potential game plan is crucial to succeed. And not only that, it is also important to being able to prepare alternatives and to adapt them before and during the match.
In this Premium Workshop, Ferran Sibila (former Barnsley FC and IFK Göteborg) will lead a session where real-life examples will be studied, explained and debated among coaches. As a participant, you will learn how to prepare a game plan and you will be able to put yourself in real scenarios thanks to the different analysis activities coach Sibila will prepare.
